On the occasion of Christmas and New Year holidays, various cultural and entertainment programmes are organised with a colourful stall offer on the main pedestrian street Korzo and at the Trsat castle during November, December and the first half of January. Rijeka restaurateurs join the Advent in Rijeka, with their gastronomic offer, which is already a traditional manifestation. Every year to the joy of the youngest, the Santa Claus Train circulates in downtown Rijeka, and the feast day of St Nicholas, patron saint of seamen, travellers and children is marked with numerous programmes. Rijeka citizens and their guests can enjoy a rich holiday offer, from switching on Christmas lights to the New Year’s Eve on Korzo with concerts and firework.

The Advent in Rijeka is organised by the City of Rijeka and the Tourist Board of the city of Rijeka in cooperation with numerous partners.
