The Delta Summer Street Session Festival was envisaged as a project aimed at improving the quality of cultural events in the city of Rijeka during summer months when clubs are closed and when the city lacks concert events.

The purpose of the Delta Summer Street Session Festival is the promotion of the Rijeka band scene with various guests from other cities and states, and it consists of a series of concerts.
