St. Vitus’ Days, or the Days of the city of Rijeka are held around mid June, when Rijeka citizens with numerous religious, cultural, entertainment and sports events, mark the holiday of the city’s patron saint. The big procession on 15 June, St. Vitus’ holiday, is the highlight of religious manifestations. In addition to religious events, a rich cultural programme also includes every year a solemn academy, during which, public recognitions of the City of Rijeka are awarded, as well as, a reception for children named after the patron saint.

The manifestations are organised by the City of Rijeka and the Archdiocese of Rijeka in co-operation with numerous partners.
