The City Council has a president and two vice presidents. The president of the City Council is available by e-mail or telephone. The councillors can be contacted via the contacts published on their websites.
The City Council has 31 members who come from various parties and coalitions of parties, depending on the results of local elections. The Council has one president and two vice-presidents.
The City Council as a representative body shall adopt decisions and acts within the competence of a local self government unit , by a majority of the votes cast by its members. The work of the City Council is laid down by the Rules of Procedure.
Sessions are held on a monthly basis. The announcement, agenda and all materials shall be published eight days prior to the session. Reports are available here after the session.
Citizens and media representatives are allowed to attend Council sessions. In addition to this, Council sessions are transmitted live via the city web site. An insight into archival documentation and materials is enabled upon request.
