ITI an intermediary body – The ITI Implementation Division that operates within the City Department of Development, Urban Planning, Ecology and Land Management is a beneficiary of Technical Assistance under the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020.
Project Title: City of Rijeka – Technical Assistance ITI IB, KK.10.1.1.02.0002
Project implementation period: 18 May 2016 – 31 Dec. 2023
Description:
The assignment of grants from priority axis 10-Technical Assistance will ensure efficient implementation in the City of Rijeka, as the centre of an urban area where the mechanism of integrated territorial investments is being implemented. By co-financing salaries, equipment of staff who will perform ITI IB, their education and training about ESI funds until 2023, the City of Rijeka will successfully provide the sustainability of the project with its own financial and administrative resources and capacity building in the event of the widening of the Urban Agglomeration of Rijeka and the implementation of the ITI mechanism.
Project goals and expected project output:
Owing to the envisaged use of grants from technical assistance for the implementation of the ITI mechanism, the implementing body for the Urban Agglomeration of Rijeka will ensure and enable the provision of funds for staff costs and training to maintain and strengthen existing and new human resources and enable sustainable implementation of the ITI mechanism over next financial perspectives. Funds intended for promotional measures will contain information intended for the general public about EU funds under which the project is co-financed.
