Elementary School Podmurvice and Rijeka Kindergarten have been awarded Erasmus accreditations in the field of adult education, vocational education and training, and school education for the period from 2021 to 2027.

The awarded accreditations will provide easier access to funding for our Institution under Key Activity 1 in a new Erasmus + programme and thus enable further improvement of the quality of staff education and training and strengthening the European dimension of teaching and learning in our kindergartens.

All organisations that applied had to present an Erasmus plan, namely an activity plan within Erasmus, whereby meeting the key needs of their organisations, thus improving the quality of education and training and strengthening the European dimension of teaching and learning.

The accreditations have been awarded following a call published by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes. 33 educational institutions applied for the award of Erasmus accreditations, while only 13 institutions from all over Croatia met the conditions and owing to the quality of their applications have deserved the award of the Erasmus accreditation. Namely, all received applications underwent a formal eligibility check procedure, and in turn were subjected to a quality check. Checks on the formal eligibility and quality of applications were performed in accordance with the criteria contained in the Call, the Rules for the Submission of Applications, the Erasmus Quality Standards and the Guidelines for the evaluation of applications for accreditations in the field of adult education, vocational education and training and school education.
