Project Goal
The main goal of the GREENPACT project (Futurepreneurs and SMEs for a sustainable Central Europe | Certification Scheme) is to strengthen the skills of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs from the service sector and change their mindset and train them to apply the circular economy.

Description
The project is aimed at strengthening the skills of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, all in order to achieve their continuous sustainable development. The focus is on the sector of the creative, cultural and tourist industry, and as part of the project, activities will be carried out that will help small and medium-sized entrepreneurs from the Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Italy and Slovakia to become “greener”. The GREENPACT project develops an innovative bottom-up approach in which, through multi-generational transnational cooperation, a better understanding of consumers is sought in order for companies to adapt to the trends of a sustainable and green Europe. For this purpose, the project is developing joint action plans, pilot actions and a self-assessment tool.
Main project activities
• Development of a transnational strategy and action plan
• Development of self-assessment tools in the field of the circular economy, the results of which will be used to guide entrepreneurial activity towards the circular economy and reduce the amount of waste and carbon footprint
• Development of a methodology for the implementation of a programme whereby improving business operations by applying the circular economy
• Implementation of a training pilot programme of companies through direct intergenerational cooperation between producers and consumers
