The City of Rijeka and the Swimming Club “Primorje – Croatia osiguranje” jointly started the project titled “Rijeka Swims” within which pupils who attend second form of primary schools in Rijeka are included free of charge.

Swimming is considered a comprehensive sports discipline that, to a large degree, may influence the child’s optimum growth and development. Owing to the newly built swimming pools at Kantrida, first class conditions have been provided to pupils from Rijeka who want to practice this discipline. Owing to this interesting project that has been implemented ever since 2008, the City of Rijeka and the Swimming club “Primorje Croatia osiguranje“ enable quality swimming courses and lessons to pupils from Rijeka who attend second form.
