The exhibition “The Longest Journey -The First Voyage Around the World” is on display at the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka, showcasing the voyage across the Atlantic, begun by Ferdinand Magellan in 1519 and completed by Juan Sebastián Elcano in 1522. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain H.E. Alonso Dezcallar de Mazarreda.
The first group of works within the project “Improvement of water and utility infrastructure in the Rijeka Agglomeration” have commenced in the western part of Rijeka. The deadline for completion is 36 months. The value of the agreement for construction works is around HRK 215 million.
A rich Advent programme has been prepared in several locations in downtown Rijeka and at the Trsat Castle, which will take place from 27 November 2021 to 7 January 2022
