The Committee for the Statute, the Rules of Procedure and regulations considers draft decisions and other acts adopted by the City Council as regards their compliance with the law and the Statute of the City of Rijeka and regarding their legal treatment, it considers incentives for passing decisions and other acts, gives its opinion on the application of provisions of the Statute of the City of Rijeka and the Rules of Procedure of the City Council, it prepares answers to the High Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatia when requests for the assessment of legality of the general acts of the City Council are submitted and answers to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia in the event that a procedure is initiated for assessing whether the Statute of the City of Rijeka complies with the Constitution and law, it establishes and publishes consolidated texts of decisions and other acts of the City of Rijeka when it is authorised by such acts or when these acts have been modified and amended for at least three times, it also performs other tasks determined by the Rules of Procedure and acts of the City Council.
