The City of Rijeka co-finances the work of the Infant Feeding Counselling Centre and settles the costs of adapted (substitute) milk that provides optimal infant development and growth.
Who can receive assistance?
A baby, member of a household that is a beneficiary of the guaranteed minimum compensation provided by the Social Welfare Centre Rijeka or a household member whose average monthly income over the last three months is below the income level set by the City of Rijeka.
How to realise assistance?
Parents may take over adapted (substitute) milk free of charge on a monthly basis until the baby completes one year of age at the Infant Feeding Counselling Centre, Health Centre of the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County (Cambierieva 7, Rijeka, Mon, Wed, Fri 7 – 13 h / Tue and Thur 13 – 19 h), where the request for this type of assistance is also submitted.
