The Children’s Creativity Festival “Kvarnerić” has been continuously held ever since 2002, in the territory of the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County.

What distinguishes this Festival from other similar festivals, in addition to the promotion of autochthonous musical expression and language, is the fact that the lyrics, music, costumes and choreography of this festival correspond completely to the age of performers, and the songs are the product of musical and artistic school workshops. After each festival, sheet music materials, CDs and DVDs are published, which can later be used in teaching and organizing various events at schools.

The Festival is organised by the association “Melodije Kvarnera”, with support from the City of Rijeka and the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County.
