The Good Children’s Book Week includes a number of reading promotion activities, aimed at children and young people, as well as, all adults included in their development. The aim of the manifestation is to draw attention to the importance of choosing children’s books and introduce children and people responsible for their education to examples of good children’s books and authors who send positive messages to children.

The week is designed as a combination of book presentations and their authors – writers and illustrators, stories, readings, recitations, talks, workshops with the aim of developing story experience, descriptions, reading research, visual experiences of illustrated animations, as well as, a traditional walk along the educational trail through the Stribor’s Forest.

The Good Children’s Book Week is organized by the Civic Library of Rijeka.
