With the aim of protecting health, the City of Rijeka, in cooperation with its partners, follows the quality of drinking water, sea bathing water and air, pollen concentration in the atmosphere, it monitors mosquito populations and implements preventive measures of disinfection, disinfestation and rat extermination. Moreover, a noise map has been drawn up.
