Project title: Crowddreaming – Youth co-create digital culture
The project aims at implementing the Crowddreaming methodology in activity with secondary school students, in order to promote European values, cultural heritage, shared history, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion through formal education and non-formal lifelong learning.
Owing to the project an innovative teaching method (Crowddreaming) will be developed and implemented for professors and trainers tied to digital cultural heritage. An experimental implementation of the methodology at national level will be carried out, resulting in the creation of “digital monuments” by young people, on topics of shared European values, history, social inclusion and intercultural dialogue.
Teachers and coaches will participate in training that will address the implementation of the Crowddreaming method, as well as topics and issues tied to digital culture. They will also take a 6-week online course (the so-called MOOT – a massive open online course) related to the Crowddreaming method and the topic of digital cultural heritage. Afterwards, they will participate in the joint preparation and creation of digital culture in practical work with students / participants (groups of 20 attendees). The aim is to “build” digital monuments that address the following topics: (1) common European values; (2) cultural heritage; (3) shared history; (4) intercultural dialogue and social inclusion (related to European cultural heritage).
The next phase involves building a “European Square” – a virtual online community that will bring together students and teachers from all partner countries who have created digital monuments. During the project, teachers and coaches will have an opportunity to acquire knowledge, competences and skills related to digital cultural heritage and the Crowddreaming methodology. Young people (13-19 years), i.e. high school students, will acquire skills necessary for the development of cultural heritage, as well as, knowledge of history and intercultural dialogue and the skills of critical thinking, media literacy, digital and creative skills.
