Project goal

The project aims to solve the problem of insufficient representation of professional practice in study programmes, especially at the undergraduate level of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, which results in insufficient competencies of students when entering the labour market.

Description

The objectives of the project include (i) improving existing and developing new models for implementing professional practice by students attending the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka and through devising learning outcomes, organising and implementing professional practice by students attending the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka.

The three-year programme was developed by members of the Department of History, Department of Art History, Department of German Studies and Department of Italian Studies primarily for the needs of students of these study programmes, however, modalities of professional practice will be applicable to other study programmes.

In order to achieve the set project goals, in addition to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, eight other partner organisations take part in the project with which professional practice will be performed. The following are the partner institutions: the Croatian National Theatre Ivan Zajc, the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral, Museum of Contemporary Art, Elementary School Vežica, Italian High School – Rijeka, Tourist Board of the city of Rijeka, Italian Union and Association Žmergo
