ForHeritage

Project Goal:

The main objective of the ForHeritage project – excellency in the integrated cultural heritage management in Central Europe” is to build upon the results of previous projects in the preservation of cultural heritage and create tools for cultural heritage management. An integrated approach will be used based on four successfully completed EU projects (Forget Heritage, Restaura, IFISE, CLIC). The tools will include all stages of management, planning, implementation and financing.

Project description:

The project will focus on down-streaming activities in order to increase the impact of existing tools on the territory of Central Europe and speed up their implementation at local level.

Outputs and results from previous projects will be:

  • analysed, further developed and/or adapted, refined and clustered (WP T1 – Adjustment)
  • tested and validated (WP T2 – Testing)
  • rolled out (WP T3 – Territorial uptake)

Project results:

  • A complete and integrated set of tools for cultural heritage management – ForHeritage toolset
  • Local and regional implementation of tools: local implementation through pilots in selected heritage sites

Budget:

  • Total project value: EUR 867,925.00
  • Co-financing under EU funds: EUR 725,721.25
  • Total budget of the City of Rijeka: EUR 87,300,00
