Project summary
Setting up a community counselling centre with the aim of increasing the availability of psychological and social services to persons at risk of poverty and social exclusion in order to prevent the chronicity of psychological difficulties and institutionalisation and easier inclusion of persons in the labour market.

The Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, through the call “Improvement of existing and widening of non-institutional care services in the selected urban agglomerations / areas of Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Slavonski Brod, Split, Zadar and Zagreb”, UP.02.2.2.15.

Project goals
- Supporting the process of deinstitutionalization of social services and raising public awareness of the deinstitutionalization of social services
- Improving the quality and development of non-institutional social services
- Strengthening the capacity of experts working with members of target groups to organise and provide non-institutional social services and implement the deinstitutionalisation process
Key activities
- Adapting and equipping the premises in order to offer non-institutional social services in a quality manner
- Counselling activities at the associations UZOR and Terra
- Activities of the Learning Laboratory
- Activities of a mobile team for people who are unable to come to the counselling centre.
- Networking of stakeholders and holding 2 round tables with the aim of promoting the process of deinstitutionalisation of social services, and the rights of members of the project target groups.
- Preparing a brochure about social service providers
- Training for professionals in order to offer better social services
Expected results through indicators
- Number of people who were provided assistance through community social services: 80
- Number of family members involved in project activities: 20
- Number of experts trained in the field of social services: 15
